9. RELATIONSHIP WITH SHOPIFY
Maison Verel is powered by Shopify, which provides the technical platform for our Services. When you interact with our website, your device communicates directly with systems managed by Shopify.
All sales and commercial contracts executed through the Services are made directly between you and Maison Verel. You acknowledge and agree that Shopify Inc. and its affiliates bear no responsibility or liability for any aspect of sales transactions between you and Maison Verel, including product quality, delivery, injury, or loss. You hereby release Shopify and its affiliates from any claims, liabilities, or damages arising out of or connected to your transactions with Maison Verel.

14.2 Operating Standards: No Agent may access or interact with the Services unless it complies strictly with Section 14.4. Access is strictly forbidden if we have issued a request for the Agent to cease interactions.
14.3 Technical Controls: We reserve the right to deploy technical controls restricting how Agents interact with our infrastructure.
14.4 Identification and Behavior: All Agents must:(a) Identify themselves in all HTTP/HTTPS headers by incorporating "Agent/[Agent Name]" in the user-agent string; (b) Refrain from obfuscating Agent origin, mimicking human interaction rhythms, or bypassing CAPTCHA and human-verification systems; (c) Truthfully respond to automated prompts designed to verify non-human origin; and (d) Respect and refrain from bypassing access controls, security measures, or rate limits.
15. TERMINATION
These Terms of Service remain effective unless and until terminated by either you or us. You may terminate these Terms at any time by ceasing all use of the Services.
We may terminate or suspend this agreement or your access to the Services at our sole discretion, without notice, for any failure to comply with these Terms. Upon termination, you remain liable for all accrued obligations up to and including the date of termination. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall remain in full force (including Intellectual Property, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, Governing Law, and Severability).

EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY PROVIDED OTHERWISE BY MAISON VEREL, THE SERVICES AND ALL PRODUCTS OBTAINED THROUGH THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED STRICTLY ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS FOR YOUR USE, WITHOUT REPRESENTATIONS, WARRANTIES, OR CONDITIONS OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
MAISON VEREL DISCLAIMS ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, MERCHANTABLE QUALITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, DURABILITY, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES, SO SOME PORTIONS OF THIS DISCLAIMER MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
17. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL MAISON VEREL, OUR DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AFFILIATES, AGENTS, CONTRACTORS, SERVICE PROVIDERS, OR LICENSORS—NOR SHOPIFY AND ITS AFFILIATES—BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, PUNITIVE, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST REVENUE, LOST DATA, REPLACEMENT COSTS, OR SIMILAR DAMAGES, WHETHER BASED IN CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STRICT LIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES OR PRODUCTS PROCURED THEREFROM, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
NOTHING IN THESE TERMS EXCLUDES OR LIMITS LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE EXCLUDED OR LIMITED UNDER MANDATORY APPLICABLE CONSUMER PROTECTION LAWS.
18. INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Maison Verel, Shopify, and our respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, agents, contractors, licensors, and employees from any losses, claims, demands, liabilities, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) asserted by any third party due to or arising out of:

We reserve the right to assume exclusive defense and control of any indemnified matter at your expense, and you agree to cooperate fully with our defense.

You may not assign, delegate, or transfer these Terms of Service or your rights hereunder without our prior written consent. We reserve the right to assign, transfer, or delegate these Terms and our rights or obligations at our sole discretion without restriction or notice.
22. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Maison Verel is headquartered, without giving effect to conflict-of-law principles.
You agree that any legal action or proceeding arising out of these Terms shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in that jurisdiction. Nothing in this Section deprives consumers of statutory rights to initiate proceedings in their local courts where mandated by local consumer protection laws.
23. TRANSLATIONS
These Terms of Service may be translated into languages other than English. In the event of any conflict, ambiguity, or inconsistency between the English version and a translated version, the current English version shall prevail to the extent permitted by law.
